In the production process, rubber vulcanization, trimming and inspection are split into three control sections. After the first sample was delivered, the customer reported that the measured value of the burr was 0.04mm. The team immediately went to the customer's site for verification and found that the difference originated from the measuring tools: the customer used a 180-fold projector (with a stricter precision judgment threshold), while DOIT originally used a 100x tool. In response to this detail, the team adjusted the process parameters within 24 hours, changing the manual operation of the trimming process to a semi-automatic equipment for refinement—ensuring the final precision rubber O-ring meets the burr ≤0.03mm requirement and achieves consistent batch stability.
